Strategically located at the Kabil Integrated Industrial Estate, on the island of Batam, Indonesia, PTCT is a key player in Asia Pacific, manufacturing a wide range of pipes, connections and accessories, and delivering a wide scope of services for the Oil & Gas industry.

About the Speakers:

  • Sebastien COCHET, Marketing & Technical Sales - Regional Manager - South East Asia, Vallourec Asia Pacific

After a MSc. of Material Engineering Sébastien started his career as an automotive engineer. He subsequently moved to the US, working as Product Development Director in the glass industry before joining Vallourec Group in 2010. Starting in Technical Sales & Marketing for Africa and Unconventional Markets (shale gas/oil), he moved on to the Vallourec Global Solution entity to develop innovative traceability solutions based on RFID. Since 2014, Sebastien is coordinating the Marketing and Technical Sales in Asia-Pacific by defining and implementing the marketing strategy and delivering a consistent promotion and technical sales support to end-users operating in Asia-Pacific.

   
  • Alain MORET, Industrial Performance Manager - South East Asia,  Vallourec Asia Pacific

Graduated from a French Engineering School in 1998 with a specialization in Material Sciences, Alain started his career in the automotive industry as R&D engineer in chassis system and then project manager in machine design. He joined Vallourec in 2007 as Project Manager to implement a PMO for new OCTG solutions. In 2012, Alain moved to operations as industry controller for the worldwide OCTG division. In the scope of the Vallourec transformation plan announced in 2015, Alain was in charge to re-shape the product and administrative OCTG flows in Europe. From July 2017, Alain is in charge of capex, cost reduction programs and lean deployment in the South East Asia region.
