What does the Global Economic Crime Survey reveal?
Dmitry Kosarev, Director, Forensics, PwC South East Asia Consulting
PwC 2018 Global Economic Crime and Fraud Survey shows that reported economic crime is increasing. Fraudsters continue to use opportunities and exploit control gaps created by the fast changing business environment and technological sophistication. In parallel, growing fraud risk awareness among organisations coupled with enhanced risk monitoring techniques and controls are helping companies discover fraud faster and take action more effectively.
