Past Event | Site Visit at Strategic Marine
The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (FCCS) - Team France Export was delighted to organise an insightful site visit to the Singaporean Shipyard, Strategic Marine, as part of the program for our French delegation's journey during the Singapore Maritime Week.
A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Eng Yew Chan , CEO at Strategic Marine, for his warm welcome and to Mr. Fabien Lecuona, Business Development Manager at Strategic Marine, for guiding us through the visit.
Our curiosity was piqued as we delved into the intricacies and strengths of the shipyard, renowned for its 38 years of excellence in producing quality and high-performance vessels.
During our visit, we had the privilege of boarding the latest vessels under construction by Aircat Vessels, featuring innovative technology such as the Surface Effect Ship (SES), boasting both an air cushion and twin hulls.
We are delighted to have facilitated these initial exchanges and look forward to further collaboration and knowledge-sharing opportunities in the future in the context of the Joint year of Sustainability (JYOS) France-Singapore.
