Join this event on how circularity can contribute to reaching your sustainability targets

Recent climate-related catastrophes have reinforced the relevancy of the global 2050 net zero emission target set in 2015 during the COP21 in Paris.

This ambitious target calls for dramatic actions across all industries if we are to maintain global warming below 1.5◦C.

The built environment has a central role to play in reaching this target. Researches show that buildings emit 39% of global carbon emissions, with 11% directly attributable to built assets’ lifecycle, commonly referred to as embodied carbon emissions. Therefore, decarbonizing the sector is critical in the global fight against climate change. As one of the biggest sectors in terms of spatial footprint, the commercial real-estate sector can lead the way toward virtuous building planning.

In this event, we will go through the different ways to reduce the carbon footprint generated during the construction of your office all along their life cycle. We will see the importance of selecting low-carbon materials and products and how circularity can contribute to reaching your sustainability targets.
