Mistral AI Launches Forge, a Sovereign AI Solution Born from Singapore Collaboration

Mistral AI has introduced Forge, a system designed to help enterprises build frontier-grade AI models grounded in their proprietary knowledge.

Most existing AI models are trained on publicly available data and optimized for broad, general-purpose use. However, enterprises operate on highly specific internal knowledge, including engineering standards, compliance policies, codebases, operational processes, and years of institutional expertise.

Forge addresses this gap by enabling organizations to train AI models that are deeply aligned with their internal context, embedding them directly into systems, workflows, and policies. This approach allows companies to move beyond generic AI capabilities toward solutions tailored to their unique operations.

Mistral AI has already partnered with leading organizations such as ASML, DSO National Laboratories, Ericsson, European Space Agency, Home Team Science and Technology Agency, and Reply to train models on proprietary data powering complex systems and next-generation technologies.
