CMA CGM Receives Green Ship Award from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore
The CMA CGM Group has been recognised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) with the prestigious Green Ship Award for two of its newly deployed vessels: CMA CGM SEINE and CMA CGM SAINT GERMAIN.
These vessels are the first two in a series of four 23,000 TEU dual-fuel LNG-powered containerships flying the Singapore flag. Equipped with the advanced iCER system, they exceed the IMO’s Energy Efficiency Index standards through low-carbon fuels and green innovations.
Currently deployed on CMA CGM’s FAL3 service connecting China, Singapore, and key European ports like Le Havre and Rotterdam, driving a more sustainable global trade.
This recognition strengthens the Group’s commitment to driving maritime decarbonization and achieving net zero carbon by 2050.
