Past Event | Annual General Meeting 2026 followed by Ministerial Dialogue with Ms Jasmin Lau
The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (FCCS) welcomed more than 100 members and guests to its 2026 Annual General Meeting at Capital Tower on 11 June 2026.
The AGM provided an opportunity to review the Chamber’s activities and achievements over the past year, highlighting continued growth and engagement across the business community. Among the milestones shared was the Chamber reaching a record 60 Patron Members, reflecting the strong support and trust of the French-Singaporean business ecosystem.
Members were presented with updates on the Chamber’s strategic priorities, key initiatives, financial performance and governance matters, all of which were approved during the meeting.
Following the AGM, attendees were joined by Ms Jasmin Lau, Minister of State for Digital Development and Information and Education, for an exclusive dialogue moderated by FCCS President Sylvie Gleises.
The conversation explored Singapore’s digital ambitions, the rapid development of artificial intelligence, workforce transformation and the importance of maintaining competitiveness in an increasingly technology-driven economy. A recurring theme throughout the discussion was the critical role of collaboration between the public and private sectors in shaping Singapore’s digital future and fostering innovation.
The session concluded with a lively audience Q&A, during which members engaged directly with the Minister on topics including AI adoption, talent development, digital trust, regulation and opportunities for businesses operating in Singapore.
