Past Event | CEO Club - Navigating Uncertainty: ASEAN in a Turbulent World
The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore had the pleasure of welcoming members of the CEO Club for an exclusive session with Professor Cedomir Nestorović, Professor of Geopolitics at ESSEC Business School Asia Pacific, and Jérôme Pezé, Former CEO & Founder of Tinubu Square.
From tariffs to defense armadas, the dialogue examined how today’s global turmoil is reverberating across the ASEAN region, mirroring wider geopolitical conflicts worldwide. It raised the question of what alliances ASEAN must forge to navigate this uncertainty, while also highlighting Singapore’s unique role as a stable and indispensable hub, shielded from conflict risks and central to regional dynamics.
The discussion underscored that disruption is not only a challenge but also an opportunity to adapt, innovate, and lead differently.
The dialogue was followed by an off-the-record Q&A and an interactive discussion among peers, enabling CEOs to share perspectives and sharpen their strategic foresight in a confidential, collegial setting.
The evening concluded with a networking cocktail, fostering further conversations and connections.
