Past Event | CIO Club - Securing Tomorrow - Addressing emerging AI threats in IT
Spotlight on an insightful and highly interactive roundtable session with our CIO Club members, dedicated to tackling emerging AI threats in IT.
The session featured a comprehensive and practical presentation by Romain Gagliardi and Jonathan Langlais (Wavestone), who outlined the evolving landscape of AI-driven cyber attacks, rising risk exposure, and the increasing need for strong governance in this new technological era. They emphasized that while AI represents a unique opportunity for innovation and operational efficiency, it must be secured responsibly to prevent misuse by hackers, the spread of deepfakes, and other advanced forms of digital manipulation.
Following the presentation, a dynamic roundtable discussion enabled participants to share their own experiences—how their organizations are currently responding to critical AI-related situations, how they structure alert handling, and the tools and processes they are developing for threat detection and day-to-day risk management.
This engaging exchange highlighted both the challenges and the growing collective understanding that safeguarding AI systems is essential to fully unlock their value while staying ahead of emerging threats.
