Past Event | HR Club Breakfast Meeting: Rules of the Game in the Age of Agentic AI

Where does your organisation stand today in its AI journey, and are your people ready for what comes next?

These were among the key questions explored during the latest French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore HR Club Breakfast Meeting, hosted by Kering South East Asia and led by Vanessa Iloste, Founder of The HR Lab.

The session provided HR leaders with a practical perspective on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in organisations, focusing not only on technology adoption but also on the people, capabilities and leadership required to successfully navigate this transformation.

Organisations are currently at very different stages of AI adoption. However, as AI becomes increasingly embedded in the workplace, the challenge is shifting from adopting new technologies to effectively managing the organisational change they bring.

Trust also remains a critical consideration. With AI agent reliability currently standing at around 67%, building confidence in AI systems and understanding their limitations remain essential for organisations looking to scale their use of the technology.

The rapid evolution of the skills landscape was another key topic discussed during the session. Around 65% of the skills linked to positions on LinkedIn are now connected to AI, highlighting the need for organisations to continuously rethink how they develop capabilities and prepare their workforce for changing roles.

The discussion also emphasised the importance of involving people throughout the AI transformation journey. Leaders need to be part of the decision-making process, while employees require greater transparency and clarity around how AI may impact their roles and the future of work.

The overarching message was clear: AI transformation is not only about technology. It requires the right capabilities, leadership and level of trust, while ensuring that people remain at the centre of the journey.

The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore would like to thank Vanessa Iloste, Founder of The HR Lab, for sharing her expertise and practical insights, as well as Agnes Wong and the Kering South East Asia team for hosting the session.
