Event report

Past Event | Inspirational Women Leaders' Series #19

Full house for the 19th edition of our Inspirational Women Leaders series!

We were honoured to welcome two exceptional speakers :Yating Wu, CEO SEA and Oceania at Richemont and Mollie Rogers, General Manager Singapore & Malaysia at Longchamp, for an intimate conversation skillfully moderated by Herlina LO Blondel, Regional General Counsel South Asia at Hermès.

A heartfelt thank you to Yating, Molly and Herlina for being both inspirational and authentic, sharing personal journeys, leadership lessons, and aspirations for women driving change across industries.

Please find a few key takeaways below:

1. Lead with Empathy and Authenticity

Human-centered leadership is rooted in empathy, active listening, and authenticity. Great leaders put themselves in others’ shoes, show vulnerability, and foster a two-way relationship built on trust and openness.

2. Prioritise Well-being and Work–Life Balance

True leadership includes caring for yourself and your team’s mental health. Providing access to wellness support and mental health resources, along with modeling healthy boundaries and balance, strengthens both people and performance.

3. Commit to Lifelong Learning and a Growth Mindset

Learning and relearning keep leaders motivated, adaptable, and aligned with purpose. Staying curious and open to new ideas—such as reverse mentorship with Gen Z—helps leaders remain relevant and innovative.

4. Build Resilience and Embrace Challenges

Resilience comes from facing discomfort and seeing challenges as growth opportunities. Visualising positivity, letting go of negativity, and daring to take bold steps forward are essential to personal and professional progress.

5. Live Your Values and Grow Through People

“Walk the talk” leadership inspires loyalty and engagement. When leaders embody their company’s values and prioritise employee well-being, they build cultures where people thrive—and in turn, drive sustainable business success.
