The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (FCCS) was pleased to host a Learning Expedition at Maersk for Executive MBA students from Germany, organized in collaboration with ESSEC Business School.

We extend our sincere thanks to Amita Maheshwari, Global Head of MAERSK Supply Chain Development, and Katharina Klaeser, Regional Key Client Manager Asia Pacific – Lifestyle & Apparel, for their valuable presentations and insights.

The session provided students with a comprehensive overview of Maersk’s business model and the evolving dynamics shaping global supply chains and logistics. Discussions explored current market trends, the business impact of supply chain disruptions, and the growing importance of resilience and agility in today’s global environment.

Speakers also highlighted the key pillars of resilient logistics, covering topics such as operational foundations, technology transformation, the growing role of AI in the industry, and the importance of people and organizational adaptability in navigating change. The exchange offered participants practical insights into how global companies are responding to uncertainty while building more efficient and future-ready supply chains.

A heartfelt thank you to Maersk and its teams for hosting this insightful Learning Expedition.
