Past Event | TAFEP Briefing on Workplace Fairness Act (WFA) and Grievance Handling Process

The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (FCCS), in collaboration with the Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP), organised an insightful briefing on the upcoming Workplace Fairness Act (WFA), which was passed in Parliament earlier this year and is expected to be legislated in 2026 or 2027.
Thank you to our speaker Jason Chan, Manager, Industry Outreach and Marketing at TAFEP, who delivered a comprehensive presentation, offering members a clear understanding of the upcoming legislation and sharing practical steps for organisations to prepare proactively.
Key highlights of the session included:
• An introduction to the Workplace Fairness Act (WFA) and its objectives.
• The importance of establishing a formal grievance handling process within organisations.
• An overview of the Tripartite Standards on Grievance Handling.
• Guidance on TAFEP’s resources and tools available to support employers.
