Raffles Singapore achieves BCA Green Mark Platinum

Raffles Singapore has achieved BCA Green Mark Platinum (Provisional) under the pilot criteria of Singapore’s latest Green Mark Version 7 (GM v7) framework, marking an important milestone in the hotel’s ongoing sustainability journey.

The recognition reflects Raffles Singapore’s efforts to enhance the building’s overall environmental and operational performance beyond energy efficiency. The GM v7 criteria take a broader approach to sustainable buildings, covering areas including whole-life carbon, occupant health and wellbeing, resilience and smart building technologies.

As one of a select group of buildings participating in the GM v7 pilot, Raffles Singapore is also contributing to the development of the next generation of Singapore’s Green Mark framework and its approach to sustainable building performance.

The achievement highlights the hotel’s ambition to combine heritage preservation with long-term sustainability. As one of Singapore’s most iconic landmarks, Raffles Singapore continues to invest in improving the environmental performance and resilience of the property while preserving the character and heritage for which it is renowned.

The milestone reinforces the role of Singapore’s hospitality sector in supporting the country’s broader transition towards more sustainable, resilient and future-ready buildings.
