RATP Dev and SBS Transit Sign MoU to Advance Collaboration on Singapore’s Cross Island Line

RATP Dev and SBS Transit Ltd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their partnership on Singapore’s upcoming Cross Island Line (CRL) project. This strategic collaboration aims to support the development of a more efficient and sustainable public transport network, enhancing East-West connectivity across the island and relieving congestion on existing lines.

The MoU signing took place following the State Visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Singapore and was held in the presence of Mr. Peet Meng Lau, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport, and His Excellency Mr. Stephen Marchisio, Ambassador of France to Singapore. The occasion underscores the 60-year relationship between France and Singapore and their shared commitment to innovation in mobility.

Operating under Singapore One Rail, this partnership unites RATP Dev’s global expertise in transit operations with SBS Transit’s deep understanding of the local context. From Paris and Copenhagen to Singapore, the two companies are driven by a common mission: to deliver safe, sustainable, and passenger-focused mobility solutions.

RATP Dev extends its thanks to Anthony Mok, CEO of Singapore One Rail, and all staff members for their continued dedication to shaping the future of transport in Singapore.
