Team France Export Showcases French Maritime Expertise at Singapore Maritime Week 2026

During the 20th edition of the Singapore Maritime Week (SMW), organised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, the Team France Export (TFE) of the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (FCCS) actively contributed to key discussions and initiatives, highlighting French maritime expertise and strengthening ties across the global maritime ecosystem. 

Through the coordinated efforts of the Team France Export (TFE) - French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (FCCS) in partnership with TotalEnergies, the French Maritime Cluster, GICAN, the Pôle Mer Méditerranée, and the Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique, a delegation of 10 innovative French companies was able to showcase its solutions and capabilities to key stakeholders in the Asian market. 

The programme began with a Welcome Breakfast bringing together the French delegation, French Pavilion exhibitors, and key industry stakeholders. The session featured presentations by Alexandre MartinDenavit (TotalEnergies) on international growth opportunities and Carine Lespayandel (FCCS) on the Singapore and ASEAN markets, followed by insights into the regional maritime landscape from Gregory Fourcin (CMA CGM APAC). The session wrapped up with a roundtable discussion exploring maritime innovation and opportunities across the ASEAN market. 

A dedicated networking session hosted at TotalEnergies further gathered leading French maritime players, including GTT, Marfret, Marinelec Technologies, Mauric, OceanWings, HAROPA PORT, Port de Marseille Fos, ATP Systems, Capefront Energies, IEC Telecom, Marine Weather Intelligence, OBIOSEED, and ULTIMETAS, fostering meaningful exchanges across the ecosystem. 

Participants also took part in an exclusive visit to PSA Singapore, gaining insights into next-generation port operations at the Innovation Centre and PSA Horizons, and exploring how automation, digitalisation, and sustainability are shaping the future of global logistics. 

From 21 to 23 April 2026, the French Pavilion brought together leading companies such as GTT, HAROPA PORT, Port de Marseille Fos, IEC Telecom Group, OceanWings, OBIOSEED, and ULTIMETAS, showcasing innovative maritime solutions and strengthening engagement with regional partners. The Pavilion welcomed distinguished guests including MrMurali Pillai SC, Senior Minister of State for Law and Transport, H.E. Stephen Marchisio, French Ambassador to Singapore, and Mr Eric Banel, Director General of Directorate general for Maritime affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture (DGAMPA), alongside key industry leaders and institutional partners. A highlight of the programme was an OceanWings roundtable on maritime decarbonisation, featuring senior representatives from government, industry, and classification bodies. Supported by strong institutional partnerships, including TotalEnergies for the third consecutive year, the French Pavilion generated significant visibility, engagement, and business opportunities, reinforcing France’s role in advancing maritime innovation across Southeast Asia. 

 
SMW 2026 reaffirmed Singapore’s strategic role in the global maritime industry and highlighted the strength of French innovation and collaboration in supporting the sector’s transition towards a more sustainable and connected future.
