Ensuring a proper onboarding is the first critical step to engage and retain the company’s talents. Yet onboarding employees has become a huge challenge in the COVID circumstances. Many employees hired during the past 20 months will have started working remotely, which in and of itself, is a challenge. The remote work setup, often affected by time zone differences, makes it hard for the Hiring Manager to dedicate the right amount of time and support to a new joiner and sense potential misunderstandings and misalignments. 

In that specific context, what improvement could be made to optimize it? How do we ensure these new employees feel like they are part of our culture, even while they are away from the office? How can we make sure they feel comfortable and motivated and raring to go with their new role?
