Concurrently as medicine becomes more advanced and personalized, there is potential to enhance the overall system flow with the right patient, right place & time, and right therapy pathways.  The role of Diagnostics may help to unlock these dilemmas.

Join this breakfast talk as we hear from KPMG about the design of “health-for-all” valued-based programs in the region and the evolving role for Diagnostics companies, as well as from bioMérieux about new innovations in key healthcare challenges such as sepsis management, anti-microbial resistance, food safety, and rapid testing techniques.  After the presentation, there will be ample time for group discussion and sharing on the matter.

About the speakers

• Nadine BRUN, Managing Director, BIOMÉRIEUX 

Nadine BRUN has 20 years of experience on the diagnostic and life science market. She has been with bioMérieux for 12 years, holding different functions in Global Marketing and Global Customer Service at bioMérieux Corporate Headquarters in Lyon, France. She spent the last 4 years as Senior Director for Global Marketing in Microbiology, managing the teams in France and USA (Missouri and North Carolina). Nadine is currently the General Manager for ASEAN Region and is based in Singapore since August 2018.

Nadine holds  a Master Degree in Communication and Marketing with Jury Honors from ESCP-EAP European School of Management, with a dual competence in Biotechnologies from the Sciences Faculty of Lyon.

• Chris HARDESTY, Director of the KPMG Singapore Life Science Practice

Chris L. Hardesty is the Director of the KPMG Singapore Life Science Practice, overseeing the practice across key clients with emphasis on growth, safety and operational excellence programs. He relocated from the UK to Singapore in order to focus on developments in the APAC region.

As a member of KPMG’s Global Health & Life Sciences Centre of Excellence, Chris supports clients in 50+ markets on topics ranging from commercial strategy, R&D, supply chain, efficiencies, workforce, technology, merger and acquisitions, compliance, audit and tax. Prior to KPMG, he had accumulated extensive industry experiences across a variety of markets and project types and had postings in Brazil and the US. He is particularly passionate about public-private collaborations to drive safe, innovative and economically viable initiatives in the healthcare sector.

Chris holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BBA from the University of Texas (Austin).
