Orange Cyberdefense Achieves Palo Alto Networks Cortex eXtended Managed Detection and Response (XMDR) Select Specialization
Orange Cyberdefense, an entity of the Orange Group dedicated to cybersecurity, has most recently become a Palo Alto Networks Cortex XMDR Select Specialization partner. Orange Cyberdefense joins a select group of channel partners who have earned this distinction through operational capabilities and fulfillment of business requirements and completion of technical, sales enablement and specialisation examinations.
The Cortex XMDR Select Specialization will enable Orange Cyberdefense to combine the power of best-in-class Cortex XDR detection and response solution with their managed services offerings — helping customers worldwide streamline security operations center (SOC) operations and quickly mitigate cyberthreats.
“This recognition further underscores the well-positioned partnership between Orange Cyberdefense and Palo Alto Network in providing customers with the tools, expertise, and resources necessary to navigate the complex cyber threat environment in the Asia Pacific region,” said Philip Lee, Head of Orange Cyberdefense, APAC.
“NextWave partners play a critical role throughout the customer lifecycle, from the initial qualifying stage to ultimately ensuring successful deployment and adoption of our technology,” said Michelle Saw, Vice President, Ecosystem, Asia Pacific & Japan, Palo Alto Networks.
“Organizations need effective detection and response across the network, endpoint, and cloud but managing today’s threats effectively is a massive undertaking,” added Michelle. “Orange Cyberdefense’s commitment to attain the Cortex XMDR Select Specialisation will give their managed security services customers peace of mind that the services they are choosing will mitigate security gaps and relieve the day-to-day burden of security operations for customers with 24/7 coverage.”
For customers, they derive these value-adds and key benefits from an XMDR-accredited CyberSOC:
- Enhanced Security Posture: Leveraging Palo Alto Networks' advanced tools and technologies, we can deliver unparalleled visibility and faster response time.
- 24/7 Advanced Threat Detection: Our CyberSOC ensures round-the-clock monitoring, detecting, and mitigating threats before they can impact your business.
- Comprehensive Coverage: XMDR services extend to a wide range of cyber threats, offering robust protection for businesses operating in diverse industries across APAC.
- Frictionless Integration: Seamless integration with existing security frameworks to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption.
To achieve Specialisation status, Palo Alto Networks partner organisations must have Cortex XDR-certified SOC analysts/threat hunters on staff and available 24/7. Partners seeking this Cortex XMDR Select Specialisation distinction must also complete both technical and sales enablement and specialisation examinations. Cortex XMDR Select Specialisation partners combine experienced analysts, mature operational processes and proven customer support with Palo Alto Networks market-leading security products, enabling them to provide customers comprehensive visibility, detection and response across network, endpoint and cloud assets, combined with best-in-class threat prevention and in-depth security expertise.
