Past Event | Public Speaking & Presentation Skills Workshop
Effective communication is a cornerstone in today's professional world, and our members recently had the opportunity to refine their skills in a dynamic two-part workshop led by Shawn D'Cotta, Head of Office at Cegos. Organised by our Human Resources Committee, this engaging session provided practical techniques to manage nerves, enhance vocal delivery, and structure compelling presentations.
In the Presentation Skills session, participants explored methods to craft clear, engaging presentations and employ vocal techniques to captivate virtual audiences through drama-based exercises.
The Public Speaking segment focused on building confidence and control when addressing audiences. Participants learned strategies to manage stage fright, use storytelling effectively, and maintain vocal clarity for impactful delivery.
