Mission & Objectifs
Le secteur agroalimentaire à Singapour évolue rapidement, stimulé par les progrès technologiques, les préoccupations concernant la sécurité alimentaire et la durabilité, ainsi que par un soutien gouvernemental , comme le souligne leur initiative nationale "30 par 30" visant à garantir que Singapour puisse produire 30% de ses besoins nutritionnels localement d'ici l'année 2030.
Cela présente d'importantes opportunités pour les entreprises en matière d'innovation, d'investissement et de collaboration, tant au niveau national qu'international.
Malgré sa superficie limitée et son manque de ressources naturelles, Singapour a accompli des progrès significatifs dans le développement d'un écosystème agroalimentaire résilient et efficace. Grâce à des investissements stratégiques dans la technologie, la recherche et l'entrepreneuriat, Singapour continue de transformer son paysage agroalimentaire, se positionnant ainsi comme un acteur majeur de l'industrie alimentaire mondiale.
Le Comité d'Innovation Agroalimentaire vise à :
- Développer la coopération entre les entreprises, en partageant des informations, en encourageant les synergies et les opportunités commerciales dans la région.
- Accéder et relayer des informations sur différents types d'opportunités provenant des autorités gouvernementales et des projets d'entreprises privées à Singapour et dans la région.
- Promouvoir l'expertise des membres dans ce secteur.
Il s'agit d'une plateforme de discussion pour les membres des secteurs liés à l'agroalimentaire, à la biotechnologie, à la bioénergie, à la robotique agricole et aux systèmes de gestion, à la sécurité alimentaire et à la traçabilité, aux aliments innovants, etc.
