Intro to Aerospace Industry

Two-day introduction to the aerospace industry, covering key players, trends and Singapore’s aerospace ecosystem.

The Aerospace Association of Singapore (AAIS) is organising a two-day introductory course designed to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the aerospace industry and its ecosystem, with a particular focus on Singapore’s position in the sector.

Taking place on 17–18 September 2026, the course will cover the key components of the aerospace industry, its major players and ecosystem, as well as the sector’s growth prospects. Participants will also explore the trends, developments, rules and regulations shaping the industry and gain a better understanding of the significance of Singapore’s aerospace sector.

The programme is designed for companies looking to introduce their employees to the aerospace industry, as well as professionals, government officers and individuals from non-aerospace sectors interested in gaining a better understanding of this dynamic industry.

The course will be led by Dr. Koh Pak Keng, Director at ECK Pte Ltd, an experienced aerospace educator and industry professional. Dr. Koh previously headed the Aerospace Cluster at SUSS, where he oversaw several undergraduate aerospace programmes and developed and delivered aviation-related courses. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Adjunct Faculty at SUSS.

The course offers an opportunity for professionals and organisations to build a stronger understanding of the aerospace sector and the factors driving its continued development in Singapore.
