AGS Singapore organises Coney Island cleanup with staff and families

The AGS Singapore team recently took environmental action with a self-initiated cleanup at Coney Island as part of the company's CSR and ESG commitments.

Coney Island offered the perfect balance away from the busy city whilst providing both environmental impact and educational value. The team focused on beach areas commonly visited by the public, collecting approximately 5kg of litter during one hour of dedicated work.

Equipped with litter pickers and gloves, participants found that empty bottles and tissue paper were the most common items. The team travelled via public transport, with pickup arrangements for those driving to the nearest access point.

This reflects AGS Singapore's broader sustainability commitment. At the office, the team reduces waste by minimising paper use, encouraging recycling, and avoiding single use items. For local moves, carton boxes are reused whenever possible, an initiative also shared with customers during surveys. 

This cleanup marks the beginning of an annual event under AGS Singapore's environmental programme.
