ENGIE Wins Gold for Energy Efficiency at the MAESCO Awards 2025
ENGIE has been awarded Gold in the Energy Efficiency category at the Malaysia Association of Energy Service Companies (MAESCO) 25th Silver Jubilee Annual Dinner & Members Award Nite 2025.
This distinction highlights the growing confidence in ENGIE’s capacity to deliver measurable decarbonisation and operational performance for industrial customers across Southeast Asia — a central pillar of the company’s unified strategy and its commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2045.
The award-winning project, carried out in collaboration with CS Yap Metalparts Industries Sdn Bhd, exemplifies this impact. Through its zero-CAPEX Utilities-as-a-Service (UaaS) model, ENGIE modernised the customer’s ageing compressed-air system, replacing five legacy compressors with three high-efficiency units. ENGIE also assumed full responsibility for ongoing optimisation, operations, and long-term performance.
The results demonstrate clear improvements:

- enhanced system reliability and efficiency
More than a recognition, this award underscores that energy efficiency continues to be one of the most practical, scalable, and high-impact solutions for industrial decarbonisation across Southeast Asia.
