Schneider Electric and NaviX Support Singapore’s Record-Breaking Indoor Vertical Farm

Earlier this year, Schneider Electric, together with NaviX Solutions, Greenphyto Pte Ltd, and investment partners, participated in the launch of one of the world’s tallest indoor vertical farms in Jurong West, Singapore.

The five-storey facility aims to grow more food using less land while maintaining efficient and resilient operations. Managing complex M&E systems, coordinating multiple vendors, and ensuring continuous equipment operation posed significant challenges.

Through NaviX, Schneider Electric provides an Infrastructure-as-a-Service model that:

• Delivers a single pipeline to manage critical power and cooling equipment,
• Handles proactive maintenance and lifecycle management, and
• Uses real-time dashboard analytics to monitor and optimise performance.

This model allows the farm to focus on production technologies and yield while Schneider Electric and NaviX manage the infrastructure systems, enabling sustainable urban agriculture at scale.
