During Singapore International Cyber Week 2025, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) announced new strategic partnerships with Google, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and TRM Labs to strengthen the country's digital defenses. These agreements aim to improve threat intelligence sharing, develop AI-based protection tools, and enhance incident response coordination.
The collaboration with Google is a continuation of previous projects, including the creation of an AI agent experimentation sandbox conducted jointly with the Government Technology Agency (GovTech), the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), and the CSA. The new protocol provides for enhanced threat intelligence sharing, joint exercises, and training programs to develop local cybersecurity skills.
AWS will contribute its expertise in secure cloud infrastructure. The partnership will involve the implementation of attack simulations, incident response protocols, and initiatives designed to strengthen the resilience of Singapore's public sector and businesses in the face of digital risks.
Finally, TRM Labs, which specializes in blockchain and digital financial flow analysis, will provide the CSA with an AI-powered blockchain intelligence platform. This collaboration is a response to the rise in illicit cryptocurrency transactions, estimated at €41.21 billion in 2024, up from €31.64 billion in 2021.
With these initiatives, Singapore is confirming its ambition to become a global hub for digital trust, relying on public-private cooperation to make cybersecurity a strategic pillar of its technological sovereignty.
