Casatrina LEE is currently the Deputy Director of the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) Programme Office at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). She works with global companies on setting up twinning operations between Singapore and Johor to tap on the joint complementarities in the two regions. She is also responsible for working with various Singaporean and Malaysian stakeholders to develop the business ecosystem in the JS-SEZ.
She previously spent 2 years in the New Ventures team, with a focus on Chinese founders and global AI founders, to engage experienced founders on their plans to build new businesses out of Singapore.


From 2020 to 2023, Casatrina was based in Shanghai as the Regional Director responsible for EDB’s engagements in Eastern China. She is experienced in working with Chinese companies to chart their growth in Singapore and the region.


Prior to that, Casatrina spent 5 years in the Digital Industry Singapore team, working with Chinese and Southeast Asian technology companies to plug them into our digital ecosystem. As part of her stint, she also worked on national strategies relating to the opportunities in AI and e-commerce for Singapore.


Casatrina graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, a Master of Science in Computer Science, and a Master of Science in Management Science & Engineering.
