Eng Yew YeohDirector at Bureau Veritas Group

Eng Yew is the Director of Bureau Veritas Regional Institute for Sustainability and Energy Transition (BV RISE) and has been with BV for more than 3 years. He developed solutions in testing, inspection and certification for clients’ journey towards Net Zero with projects in ASEAN as well as China, Australia and Korea. He is well versed with global standards and frameworks such as ISO, GHG Protocol, Verra, Gold Standard, GRI, TCFD, SBTi, ISAE, Green Bonds Principles, and GSTC. 

Eng Yew was Deputy Head at Singapore Prime Minister Office - National Research Foundation, overseeing national Energy R&D funding and Sustainability program coordination. He is an alumnus of Stanford University, USA with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Engineering.

Eng Yew has 15 years of experience spanning across the finance, transport and energy transition industries. Having been in both the government and private sectors, He is able to tap into his experience to advise on the role of ESG in many matters, ranging from how sustainable businesses attract high quality investors to how capital flows into carbon markets and green projects.
