Jannem YongHead, Information Security at StashAway

Jannem is the Head of Information Security at StashAway, a digital wealth management fintech startup. Founded in Singapore, today it has offices in 5 countries, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Dubai. Starting his career in systems and software integrations, he has over 15 years of experience in systems, software and cybersecurity and was working with Singapore Exchange prior to StashAway.

Heading the Information Security function in StashAway, he looks at tech compliance with regulations, IT risk within the company, defines policies and set standards for cybersecurity, engineering the security architecture, controls and roadmap within StashAway, running continuous assessment for assurance and manages incident response. Apart from his key responsibilities as Head of Information Security, he is also the appointed DPO across 5 countries.
