After 10 years’ experience in the Audit Department at Arthur Andersen and Renault S.A and Finance Department at Paribas Group, Jérôme joined Euler-Hermes.
In 1990, Euler only operated as a credit & surety insurer in France focused on domestic risk.
For 10 years Jérôme played a leading role within the Euler-Hermes Group (Allianz Trade) to become the worldwide leader in the Credit Insurance Industry, developing both its international risk expertise and its international network. He was closely involved in many of the organization’s international acquisitions and openings. Jérôme held successive senior management positions including Head of Risk in France, Director Commercial and Strategy of Euler-Sfac, Chief Operating Officer of Euler-Hermes Benelux, Director Risk U/W of Euler- Hermes UK, Chairman of Euler Risk Asia and Chairman of Group Country Risk Committee.
Jérôme set-up Tinubu Square in 2001 and led the company as CEO for 23 years.
Tinubu provides software solutions to the credit & surety insurance industry and has emerged as the digital transformer of the industry. Across the world, Tinubu provides its solution to more than 30 of the top 50 players, notably to government Export Credit Agencies and private insurers, for Trade Credit and Surety, as well to hundreds of brokers & agents. Tinubu has offices in France, US, Canada, UK, Singapore, and India. Jerome recently set-up SOKOTO Pte
in Singapore to provide disruptive innovations in Credit & Surety.
As Senior Advisor for Morgan Stanley since 2005, Jérôme had been involved in number of M&A or equity restructuring projects relating to private credit & surety insurers and ECA’s.
Jérôme graduated with Master’s Degrees from both the Stanford Business School and NEOMA in France, and graduated with the French Highest Military Academy (IHEDN).
Jérôme serves in the French Military Operational Reserve (Major, Chief of Staff Dept.) and as Advisor for International Trade appointed by the French Government (‘’Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur de la France’’).
Drawing on this dual expertise in global finance and defense strategy, Jérôme brings unique insights into the risks and resilience of economies, businesses, and nations operating in today’s turbulent geopolitical landscape—particularly across ASEAN.
