Stephanie graduated as a sommelier from the renowned wine school of Tain L ’Hermitage in Rhone Valley, France after two years of intensive wine trainings in vineyards, wineries and luxury Hotels and restaurants.
Singapore, 2009 - she was first the sommelier consultant for Hilton & Conrad, covering Singapore and Indonesia.
Working as well for the owner of Hilton Singapore and the F1 Singapore Mr. Ong BS, she was taking care of his VIP events, selecting and serving wines for F1 Singapore and politicians such as Mr. Lee Kuan Yew.
Later, she joined Raffles Hotel Singapore as the Wine Director for 3 years.
Stephanie nourishes her passion and wine knowledge with annual pilgrimages to vineyards of both new and old world, visiting hundreds of wineries and making wine. It is by this total immersion that she brings the life and joy of wine to share with people everywhere.
Passionate by the wine making, she produced her own wine in Burgundy on the vintage 2008. In 2020 she produced a first wine movie and documentary “There’s no accounting for taste”.
She created “The Wine Apprentice”, where unique blind wine tastings allows both wine connoisseurs as well as beginners to enjoy wine and learning through a full sensory exploration. Stephanie believes in truly experiencing wine, away from the “yayapapaya”-aloofness often associated with wine.
Stephanie has been appointed in 2018 the Private Sales Director for the Vintage Club wine company.
