Véronique Augier NelDirector of Communications at Accor

Véronique has been with Accor’s regional team in Singapore since 2011. In her current role, Véronique oversees Communications for Accor’s 400+ hotels across Southeast Asia, Japan & South Korea, covering 12 countries, supporting hotels which brands include Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, Mondrian, Pullman and MGallery. In her previous remit, Véronique also managed CSR projects, partnerships and events, engaging and benefiting local organisations such as the Community Chest of Singapore.

A graduate of the Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne in Switzerland, Véronique started her career in Paris, then moved to the Seychelles (Indian Ocean) with Starwood Hotels & Resorts. She was also part of the FIFA Accommodation team for the prestigious sporting event 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

Born in Africa to French and Indonesian parents, Véronique was made to travel, having lived in South Africa, the Seychelles, Indonesia, Switzerland, France, USA, and spent all her childhood in Singapore. She is a proud wife of one and mom of two, passionate about travel, meaningful communication and bringing people together.
