What if children could step inside a story and help decide what happens next?
Discover Once Upon a Sandscape, an interactive storytelling performance where voice, imagination and live sand art come together on stage.
Storyteller Mathilde Bagein brings a colourful cast of characters to life, while sand artist Sock Fong Tan creates magical landscapes and creatures live on screen. Together, they revisit The Enormous Turnip and The Stonecutter through playful and imaginative adaptations.
Designed for young audiences, this playful and poetic performance explores themes of nature, resilience and the power of working together. Children are not simply watching the story unfold — they become part of the adventure and help bring it to life.
The performance will take place on 3 and 4 October at 3:00 PM at Alliance Française de Singapour – Le Théâtre. The show lasts one hour, is performed in English and is recommended for children aged 5 and above.
