Unplugged: The Mindful Silent Walk

On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, The Resilience Institute is inviting you to Unplugged: The Mindful Silent Walk - a guided, phone-free and conversation-free morning away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
This session is designed specifically to give busy executives a space to recharge and an opportunity to quieten their busy minds. It opens the possibility of slowing down and renewing with the support of stillness and nature.
This isn’t a non-stop walk - we’ll move at a slow, gentle pace for about half the time. The rest is designed for rest, deep self-connection, and quiet reflection. Through a mix of mindful walking, sitting, light stretching, and breathwork, you’ll have dedicated space for restorative silence to work its magic. With a facilitator holding space for the group, there’s zero planning or pressure - just tuck your phone in your bag, show up, and be present.
What to expect:
- A guided slow walk through MacRitchie Reservoir
- Structured time for reflection, stretching, and meditation
- A fully phone-free, conversation-free experience
- A calm space for your mental wellbeing
What to bring: Please come prepared with comfortable sports shoes, a water bottle, and sunscreen or insect repellent. Since the grass might be damp, bring a small towel to sit on. If you like capturing your thoughts, feel free to bring a journal and pen for reflection.
Meeting point: MacRitchie Reservoir Main Entrance Car Park, near the taxi drop-off. Please arrive by 7:00 AM; we hold the group until 7:15 AM before setting off.
Showing up is the whole work. Making space in your morning and getting here for 7 AM is the commitment. The rest is just letting yourself rest into the experience. We think you'll find it's worth every bit of the effort.
