Astek Strengthens Project Management Offering with Acquisition of Elysis

Paris, May 23rd, 2024 . Astek has announced the acquisition of Elysis, a French company renowned for its specialist project management consultancy services. This acquisition will enable Astek to strengthen its project management offering.

The integration of Elysis strengthens Astek's presence in France and its ability to meet the project management needs of its clients in all sectors, including major industrial projects.

Founded in 2011, Elysis employs 200 people across six offices in France and Belgium and has a turnover of €17.6 million. The company initially built its reputation in the automotive and railway sectors, particularly in the Hauts-de-France region, thanks to its mastery of economic and technological issues. This solid base has enabled the company to diversify its activities. Today, Elysis is also active in the energy, aeronautics, health, infrastructure and retail sectors.

Elysis excels in the management and execution of engineering activities, providing operational support in product, process and infrastructure engineering. This expertise is complemented by a mastery of quality, cost and deadlines, which are essential for optimising project profitability. Finally, Elysis strengthens Astek's project and programme management capabilities, in particular through cost and risk management, PMO and project reporting services.

This operation will enable Astek to strengthen its position and become a major player in project management in France by bringing together the Emisys and Elysis offerings.

Julien Gavaldon, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said: "This strategic acquisition strengthens our position in several key areas of project management and enables us to tackle more complex and diversified projects. Elysis brings us complementary skills to those of Emisys, which will join the Group in 2022. This strengthens our ability to offer a full range of project engineering services to our clients. We look forward to integrating the talents of Elysis, whose expertise will be a great asset to our operations."

Jérémy Gonce, CEO and founder of Elysis, who will remain at the helm of the company, added: "Joining the Astek Group is a fantastic opportunity for Elysis to continue its expansion and offer new prospects to our clients and employees. We look forward to contributing to Astek's growth momentum and being part of its ambition to become a global leader in technology and engineering consulting".

Astek continues to pursue its strategy of targeted acquisitions and double digit organic growth. This new acquisition confirms Astek's commitment to developing strong synergies within its group to deliver ever more innovative solutions to its customers.
