[CREATE Symposium] Mr Heng Swee Keat, DPM of Singapore, visits CNRS

Mr Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, Chairman of the National Research Foundation, visits CNRS during the CREATE Symposium 2023. 

During the CREATE Symposium, Prof. Antoine Petit, CEO of CNRS, had an extensive meeting with Mr Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore and Chairman of the National Research Foundation Singapore (NRF) to discuss on science strategy and planification, cooperation with industry, innovation, attracting young people to science, and science diplomacy.

The CREATE Symposium also allowed CREATE entities and CNRS@CREATE to showcase the ongoing research programs and projects thanks to posters and exhibits.

The DesCartes Augmented Marina Bay Twin demo and the Calipso exhibit attracted many visitors, filled with curiosity and interesting questions.

Prof Antoine Petit, Prof. Dominique BAILLARGEAT, CEO of CNRS@CREATE, and Prof. Francisco Chinesta, Director of the DesCartes program, had the great honor of presenting the DesCartes Augmented Marina Bay Twin demo to Mr Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, Chairman of the National Research Foundation.

Prof. Virgile Viasnoff and Prof. Jean-Baptiste Sibarita, both leading the Calipso project, presented their new soSPIM microscope and the future perspectives linked to it to Prof. Antoine Petit, Mrs. Christelle Roy, Director of the European and International Department of CNRS, as well as the numerous guests and participants.
