Mission & Objectives
Singapore has rapidly emerged as a key player in the fields of Aeronautics, Space, Defence, and Security, leading the way in the continued advancement and international cooperation. With strategic investments and partnerships, Singapore cultivates a robust ecosystem, supporting R&D, innovation and sustainability in these sectors. The nation's commitment to excellence is evidenced by its world-class infrastructure, advanced technological capabilities, and skilled workforce. Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has spearheaded initiatives for sustainable aviation growth, while the defense sector continues to modernize and adapt to evolving security challenges. Furthermore, Singapore's burgeoning space industry showcases its ambition to explore new frontiers and leverage space technology for societal benefits.
The Aeronautics, Space, Defence and Security Committee aims to:
- Establish a platform for professionals of these sectors to explore synergies, address common challenges, and identify opportunities for joint initiatives. Facilitate knowledge sharing, business partnerships and best practices exchange among members
- Discuss topics related to aeronautic, space, defence and security in Singapore and Southeast Asia, through site visits, breakfast talks, committee meetings and roundtable discussions.
