Join us and hear experts share on how to prevent cyber-attacks in the maritime industry.

More than 90% of the world’s trade is carried by sea. The importance of maritime industry to the world economy is accelerating innovative development in technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence. Meanwhile, connectivity and reliance on intelligent devices have increased the chances of being victims of cyber-attacks. Maritime cybersecurity faces threats at places such as ports, vessels and communications systems.

As an integral component of Effective Maritime Safety & Security - a key thrust of Singapore’s Maritime R&D Roadmap 2030 – Maritime Cybersecurity is a key concern for each player in the maritime trade ecosystem. As such, it is important for all players to be aware of the importance of cyber security and best practices. In this FCCS Breakfast Talk, our panellists will discuss the challenges of cybersecurity in the age of digitalisation and strategies to be integrated to achieve cyber resilience.
