Singapore is one of the fastest ageing populations in the world, with one in four Singaporeans expected to be aged 65 and above by 2030.
This demographic shift is set to have a profound impact on society and the social fabric of cities which will need to adapt and develop a number of short and longer-term strategies to ensure they respond adequately to both the challenges and opportunities that an ageing population present .
Silver cities, assisted living and tech are key sectors society needs to focus on to adapt and cater for an ageing population which in turn offers promising opportunities for businesses.
