Join our experts as they take you through the success story and business insights of one of Asia’s most dynamic and strategically positioned economies

South Korea has emerged as one of Asia’s most dynamic and strategically positioned economies, navigating geopolitical tensions, technological transformation, and evolving global trade dynamics. Understanding the country’s economic direction and political landscape is essential for companies looking to engage with or expand into the Korean market.
In this session, Philippe Li, Kim & Chang Lawyer and President of KEY (Korea Europe & You), former Chairman of the French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), will provide a structured overview of Korea’s current economic and political environment, before exploring how the country is leveraging technology strategy and soft power as key pillars of its global influence. From industrial policy and innovation ecosystems to cultural exports and digital leadership, Korea’s integrated approach offers important lessons for international businesses.
The keynote will be followed by a roundtable discussion featuring experienced practitioners of the Korean market:
- Adeline Lise Khov, Head of the Regional Economic Service for ASEAN at French Embassy in Singapore
- Solomon Moos, Managing Director, Head of Asia Investor Relations at Eurazeo
- Ye Shang Tan, Startup Business Acceleration Program Lead (APAC) at Thales TrustMyTech
Together, they will share practical insights on market entry, partnership strategies, regulatory considerations, and cultural dynamics — offering concrete takeaways for organizations navigating Korea’s fast-moving business landscape.
Rather than a purely academic discussion, this session is designed as a strategic and experience-driven exchange, bringing together macro-level analysis and on-the-ground perspectives.
