Join us for Construction Collage, a collaborative and engaging workshop designed to explore how the building and consturction industry impacts the climate crisis.
Objectives of the Construction Collage:
- Raise Awareness: climate change | biodiversity loss | pollution | resource depletion... ;
- Provide Knowledge: deliver data-driven insights into the scale and scope of resource usage within the industry;
- Encourage Reflection: prompt participants to consider their true needs and potential actions.
- Offer a Global Perspsective: illustrate the construction sector's overall impact on the environment.
Workshop activities:
- Work in small teams to engage with 45 game cards covering urban planning, design, construction, and resource use.
- FIdentify and connect the cause-and-effect relationships between various industry components by arranging and linking the cards.
- Develop a comprehensive mind map to grasp the broader environmental and social implications of the construction industry.
- Propose and debate potential solutions to the issues identified.
Who is it for?
- Everyone is concerned about climate change and biodiversity loss. Construction Collage was therefore designed for people with an interest in the construction sector as well as for all construction professionals: the former will discover the subject and deconstruct their prejudices, while the latter will go deeper and question their practices.
