Plastic Pollution: A Mosaic of Solutions is a 3-hour collaborative workshop based on insights from the Plastic Odyssey expedition and research in behavioral sciences.

Participants work with 54 illustrated cards covering the plastic life cycle, its impacts, and 30 solutions already implemented around the world. Together, they build a visual and structured mosaic that explains the problem and the solutions. Each card is based on real photographs collected during the Plastic Odyssey expedition in more than 30 countries. This makes the topic concrete, tangible, and grounded in reality.

✨ What makes it unique

• A strong scientific foundation The workshop is designed to address the three main barriers that prevent people from taking action on plastic pollution: perceived complexity, feeling overwhelmed, and the “triangle of inaction.” Behavioral science tools help turn awareness into the ability to act.
• Content rooted in real life All visuals come from fieldwork carried out by the Plastic Odyssey expedition. Participants discover real local initiatives and proven alternatives such as refi ll systems, bulk sales, repair, and reusable materials. The solutions are documented and immediately applicable, removing the gap between theory and practice.

• An inductive, collective learning approach Participants discover the content by themselves. They discuss, connect ideas, and prioritize solutions, guided by a facilitator. This collective process strengthens understanding, memory, and long-term ownership of the topic.
