Past Event | HR Club Breakfast on Building Purpose-Driven Organisations

Thank you to everyone who joined our latest HR Club Breakfast on Building Purpose-Driven Organisations, organised in collaboration with Company of Good
A key takeaway from the session was that employee engagement is strongest when community initiatives are aligned with a company's expertise and employees' skills. When organisations leverage their strengths to address real societal needs, employees often find greater meaning and purpose in their involvement.
We also explored how NVPC supports organisations in building impactful and sustainable volunteering programmes. Initiatives such as Project V help companies identify suitable charity partners, manage reporting requirements, and create more structured engagement opportunities.
Thank you to Su-Yin Ching from Company of Good and Thomas Tan from International SOS for sharing their insights and experiences. Their perspectives reinforced the importance of aligning business capabilities, employee interests, and community needs to drive meaningful impact.
If your organisation is looking to develop or strengthen its corporate purpose and employee volunteering initiatives, feel free to reach out — these programmes and supporting resources are provided at no cost and can help you design more structured and impactful engagement strategies.
