Singapore Announces Circuit Breaker To Minimise Spread Of COVID-19

This new series of measures has been termed a circuit breaker, not a closure. In the fight against COVID-19, every individual, every business plays a pivotal role. Together, we will overcome. 

To stem the tide of COVID-19 infections, it was announced on Friday, April 3 there that will be a suspension of activities at the workplace to help Singapore flatten the curve:

  • Essential services and their related supply chains/ partners will continue to operate. The list will be updated at: https://covid.gobusiness.gov.sg/essentialservices/ 
  • Businesses that are able to operate with their teams working from home should continue to do so.
  • Supermarkets, wet markets, hawker centres, food centres and F&B establishments will continue to remain open but only takeaways and deliveries are allowed.
