STMicroelectronics and SIT Sign a MoU to Drive Innovation in Singapore’s Semiconductor Industry

Singapore, 25 November2024  STMicroelectronics' close, strategic partnership with Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) was formalized with the signing of a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by Bertrand Stoltz, EVP Corporate Finance, Asia Public Affairs, Managing Director of Singapore, in a ceremony witnessed by Rajita D'Souza, President for Human Resources & Corporate Social Responsibility.
 
What started out as an Integrated Work Study Program (IWSP) collaboration in 2022 has grown remarkably into a multi-faceted partnership that’s driving innovation in Singapore’s semiconductor industry.
 
This collaboration extends beyond internships to include:

  • Industry advisory roles in engineering curriculum development
  • EDB-sponsored industry postgraduate research programs
  • Applied research through ST's Competence Centers
  • Co-development of Competency Stackable Micro-credentials (CSM) pathway
  • Two advancing research projects in power and energy management
