Past Event | Exclusive C-Suite roundtable with EDB – Setup a company in Singapore
We had the pleasure of virtually connecting with the Economic Development Board of Singapore (EDB) for an open discussion with several European entities who are planning on expanding their activities in Asia.
EDB presented the European business community in Singapore as well as their different ways to use Singapore as a hub to expand in the APAC region:
- with the setup of a regional HQ, to easily trade with neighbors’ countries using Singapore’s connectivity, regulation and numerous FTAs;
- with the setup of a R&D center, to benefit from Singapore dedicated infrastructures and highly qualified manpower;
- with the setup of a testing and innovation lab, to work on projects supported by the Singapore government;
- with the setup of an advanced manufacturing site, to leverage from Singapore’s strategic economic zones (JS-SEZ, BBK).
There are many ways to setup in Singapore in addition to many benefits (ease of registration and management, high investments, English as the official language for business and administration, legal framework, safety, quality of life for your employees and their families, etc.).
