Past Event | Inspirational Women Leaders' Series #12
After the summer break, we were back for the 12th edition of our “Inspirational Women Leader’s Series”.
Our inspiring speakers, Emily Tan, Chief Executive and Country Director at Thales Singapore, and Thuy Ngo, SVP, Strategic Accounts at Sodexo, shared valuable insights from their personal experiences, career highlights, challenges, and aspirations for women in leadership.
Key learnings:
- The importance as a leader, of leaving a legacy and creating a positive impact, whether large or small. This impact should support the company's growth as a business but also further foster a strong people-oriented culture.
- Explain to employees why businesses should prioritise having more women in their organisations not just to meet quotas, but because diverse perspectives lead to better decision-making, innovation, and improved performance.
- Be confident in your own worth and avoid the temptation to blend in. Your diversity is a valuable asset that enriches the organisation. Embrace what makes you unique.
