Past Event | Making It in Asia: Real Stories from Successful French Entrepreneurs in Singapore
The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (FCCS) was delighted to host the first edition of this inspiring evening dedicated to the entrepreneurial journeys of French leaders who have successfully built and scaled businesses in Singapore and across Asia. The event welcomed a full house first session featuring Laurent Junique, CEO of TDCX, and Gilles Langourieux, CEO of Virtuos, expertly moderated by Fabien Mailhe, Founder of Timeo-Performance.
Through candid and engaging exchanges, the speakers shared key milestones from their journeys, offering valuable perspectives on entering new markets, navigating regulatory environments, building cross-cultural teams, and managing expansion across Asia.
Beyond their success stories, both speakers highlighted the realities of entrepreneurship: the need to remain resilient, adaptable, and forward-looking in an ever-evolving business landscape. Among the key takeaways, participants were encouraged to always look ahead and anticipate change, to make decisions quickly to seize opportunities, and to embrace uncertainty as part of the entrepreneurial journey.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, allowing participants to engage directly with the speakers, followed by a networking cocktail. This provided a relaxed setting for attendees to continue the conversation, exchange ideas, and strengthen connections.
