Britcham will host football stars Neil 'Razor' Ruddock and David James on July 13th to discuss their careers with David Kelly.

David James

LIVERPOOL, MAN CITY AND ENGLAND LEGEND

Goalkeeper David James represented his country 53 times and was part of England’s 2002, 2006 and 2010 world cup squads. He is perhaps best known for his for the Anfield club and spent seven years on Merseyside from 1992 to 1997.

 

A move to Aston Villa followed, and James went on to represent West Ham, Man City, Portsmouth, Bristol and Bournemouth in England before stints in Iceland and India, where he now manages with Kerala Blasters. James is fourth on the list of all-time Premier League appearances, having played in 572 top-level matches.

 

Neil Ruddock

CRYSTAL PALACE, SPURS, LIVERPOOL AND WEST HAM LEGEND

Once dubbed the ‘hardest footballer of all time’, Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock began his professional career at London side Millwall. After securing a move to Tottenham in 1986 he broke his leg on debut and later rejoined Millwall before signing for Southampton.

Making more than 100 appearances for the Saints, Ruddock returned to Spurs for a successful season in 1992/93 with 38 appearances.

 

In 1993, Ruddock moved to Liverpool for an impressive £2.5 million. He would go on to spend 5 years at Liverpool as one of the famous ‘Spice Boys’ before playing seasons for West Ham and Crystal Palace.
