Renowned for his unique interpretations of the French classical repertoire, acclaimed pianist Alexandre Tharaud presents iconic works by Satie, Debussy and Ravel in this piano recital. Be enchanted by Satie's Gymnopedie No. 1, as well as Debussy's Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, the iconic orchestral work transcribed for solo piano by Tharaud himself. 

As a recitalist, Alexandre Tharaud is a regular guest at the world’s most prestigious venues. This and next season’s highlights include recitals at the Philharmonie de Paris, King’s Place London, Frankfurt Alte Oper, Bayreuth, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Casa da Música Porto, Zankel Hall and extensive touring in Japan, China and Korea.
